We are looking for a Sports Trader to join a successful sports-betting company with their main offices in Malta. You need previous experience of sports-trading to be considered for this role, and you need to be a great team-player as you will be member number 4 in the growing team of Sports Traders.

Role & Responsibilities

• Compliance checks to ensure the programs are set up adhering to respective compliance regulations
• Both before and during matches, compare odds against those of competitors and monitor market movements
• In case of regulatory updates by the authorities, program maintenance is your responsibility
• RYou are responsible to spot odds errors or safe bets, stuck lines and false settlements
• Document errors and anomalies in detail and pass them directly to theour development team
• Proactively detect and analyze player betting patterns and behaviours
• Withdrawal Request Checks for integrity in terms of late or safe bets

Required skills & experience

• In-depth understanding and up-to-date knowledge about sports-betting and the various sport-betting markets
• Absolutely passionate about sports
• Experience of compiling odds (probability principles)
• Expert at tracking own work, including notes for colleagues
• Hand-over and escalation of various tasks to other experts
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken
• Ability to work when the market demands, rather than set working hours – flexible working hours but depending on when games are played!
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to stay calm in an environment which is driven by the unknown
• Team player who strives to bring value to the whole team
