Customer Service Specialist - German and English Speaker

Our client offers trading in over 1000 stocks, shares, ETFs, and CFDs and has one of its offices in St Julian’s, Malta. They are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join their team.

Role & Responsibilities
- Answer and support customer-facing communication in German and English, and translate emails, website information, and any other matter as requested
- Interact with various departments to resolve customers' issues
- Investigate possible solutions to customers' issues as well and use the available tools and information resources to resolve problems
- Escalate unresolved problems in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Administer client account management, including updating the CRM system
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to all company standards during any client interaction
- Assistance with any special Customer Service projects
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Required Education, Skills & Experience
- Fluent in German and English both verbal and written (ideally native speakers)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position in the financial services or banking sector would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of bank-specific products as well as front-middle and back-office processes, especially in the field of securities and derivatives.
- Knowledge of investment and/or bank-specific products especially in the field of securities, derivatives, banking, or asset management will be considered an advantage
- Great problem-solving attitude
- Great communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Professionalism, work ethics, and a team player
- Able to work with minimal supervision with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to think critically and draw from experience to make decisions
- Care in dealing with sensitive information

- Basic office skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
