An igaming platform provider, offering several products and hundreds of games, is looking for a Back-End Software Engineer to join their development team in L-Imriehel, Malta. Role & Responsibilities

• Write neat,well-designed, high-quality, maintainable code
• Deliver the highest attainable level of system control and performance capabilities
• Write unit and system tests to ensure high software quality
• Take ownership and responsibility of own work starting from the design process up to delivery
• Able to work well independently, but also to function well in a team
• Learn from and share with team members
• Able to communicate ideas and solutions with both technical and non-technical colleagues

Education, Skills & Experience

• Degree in IT / Software engineering or equivalent thereof
• 3+ years of working experience using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Good communication skills in English, written and spoken (C1 or better)
• Ability to efficiently find solutions to issues, using high-quality code
• Experience with distributed and messaging systems like microservices and Kafka
• SQL, Postgres, SQL Server, NoSQL
• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration
• Good knowledge of Front-end technologies including React
• Ability to work in a Linux environment, with basic bash skills

The interview process starts with an online interview. If this is successful, there will be a test that you will have 1 week to complete, then a second interview to discuss the outcome of the test.

Salary up to €45K depending on previous experience.
