A Malta-based group of companies operating multiple online casino and sportsbook brands, is looking for a Junior Compliance Officer to join their growing operation. Having been operational for more than 10 years, this is a very well-established company with a clear set of objectives, offering great opportunities to their diverse team of staff-members.

The Junior Compliance Officer will play a key role in supporting the compliance team and the role is very urgent. Start date by 16th October 2023.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist with AML requirements set forth by the authorities
• Perform risk assessment of existing and new players
• Carry out Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
• Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Sanction list checks
  Evaluate and identify suspicious behaviour
• Investigate and report suspicious transactions
• Respond to escalations from the Support Team in a timely manner

Requirements

• Experience of working within igaming operations (support/payments/fraud/risk)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken (C1/C2)
• Strong interest of working with AML risks
• Highly analytical and computer literate
• Diligent and able to work on your own initiative
• Strong team-player
• Quick learner with keen interest to develop further skills
• Happy to work in a dynamic environment
• Driven to deliver to targets whilst never negotiating on quality of work

• This role is office-based in Gzira, Malta
• Working hours: Flex office hours Mon-Fri
• Salary €24-28K depending on experience
