An international igaming company with locations worldwide is seeking a Kubernetes Specialist to join their Azure Team. The role involves migrating systems to AKS while maintaining best practices in networking, cluster design, automation, and security. You'll collaborate closely with development teams.

This role is open to remote professionals based in countries with similar work environments to Vietnam and the Philippines, with a preference for Southeast Asian candidates. The working hours follow Eastern Standard Time (USA).

Salary up to $2900/month.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and execute migrations to AKS
• Optimize Kubernetes environments for performance, scalability, and security
• Manage multi-cluster, multi-region deployments with strong networking configurations
• Develop automation scripts, custom controllers, and operators
• Implement service mesh solutions to enhance microservices networking and security
• Ensure compliance with Azure Kubernetes practices
• Implement network policies, security controls, and strategies
• Guide development teams on Kubernetes YAML files, Kustomize overlays, and Helm charts

Education, Skills and Experience

• Certifications in CKA, CKAD, and AZ-305
• Certifications in CKS and AZ-104 are a plus
• 5+ years of working experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Fluent in English (C1+ level, both written and spoken)
• Strong expertise in AKS cluster design
• Experience with blue/green deployments, node pool strategies, and workload optimization
• Proficient in Helm, Terraform, Kustomize, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
• Experience with CI/CD and Azure networking
• Proven experience with AKS (GitOps and ArgoCD) is essential
• Willingness to work in EST (USA) timezone

About the Role

• Fully remote
• Contract - you invoice the company (1-year renewable)
