SEO Manager

An established affiliate marketing company based in Pietà, Malta, with a strong reputation in SEO and content services for the igaming industry, is currently seeking an SEO Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the CPO, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing current assets, leading new projects, and improving both on-page and off-page SEO strategies.

This is a primarily on-site role with some flexibility for remote workdays. The role offers a salary of up to €40K, depending on experience, along with an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities

On-Page SEO

  • Conduct keyword research and optimise existing and new website content
  • Improve meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking structures
  • Perform regular technical audits to identify and resolve issues such as broken links or duplicate content
  • Optimise site architecture and performance to meet user and search engine standards

Off-Page SEO

  • Develop and implement effective link-building strategies
  • Manage relationships with publishers and relevant platforms
  • Monitor backlink profiles and take corrective actions when needed
  • Analyse competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities
  • Support organic visibility through PR and content outreach initiatives

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ SEO experience within the igaming industry
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with WordPress and basic HTML/CSS
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices and search engine algorithms
  • Experience working with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
