A boutique business advisory firm in Malta is seeking a Tax Senior Team Leader to join their growing team. In this role, you will provide expert tax advice to a diverse and expanding client base, while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the tax department and mentoring junior team members. Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of tax professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and training
• Oversee client relationships and liaise with tax authorities on a daily basis
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax returns and related filings
• Advise clients on local and international tax matters, staying up to date with evolving legislation
• Ensure client compliance with Maltese income tax laws and regulations
• Assist with business development initiatives and identify opportunities to expand the tax service line
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote tax services through seminars, webinars, and other channels

Skills & Experience

• Qualified (Master’s in Accountancy or ACCA)
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal), with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Strong knowledge of Maltese income tax matters, including tax payment and refund mechanisms, fiscal unity, capital gains tax, notional interest deductions, and double taxation relief
• Solid understanding of international tax frameworks such as ATAD, OECD Treaties, the Interest and Royalties Directive, and the Parent-Subsidiary Directive
• Previous experience in management or leadership within a tax function
• Committed to delivering a first-class, client-focused service
