Our client, an insurance company based in Ta’ Xbiex, is currently looking for a Finance Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be managing accounting including reconciliations, updates of documents and ledgers, and also financial analysis.

This role is hybrid and offers a salary of up to €35K, depending on experience. Due to the urgency of the role, only candidates who are already based in Malta can be considered for the role.'

Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out monthly bank reconciliations

• Organize and manage all bank-related documentation

• Update and oversee assigned general ledger accounts

• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Review and report on variances in general ledger accounts

Education, Skills & Experience

• Formal education in Accounts

• Previous working experience in a similar role, in Malta

• Fluency in English at a C2/native level both written and spoken

• Proficient in IT with knowledge of Microsoft 365 - Word and Excel

• Keen eye for detail

• Organised with excellent time management skills
