Our client, a well-established Corporate Service Provider in Swatar, Malta, is looking for a Senior Tax Executive to join their growing team. Must be fully qualified in Accountancy or equivalent (ACA, ACCA), with a CPA warrant.

This is a hybrid role that offers a salary of up to €35K depending on experience.

Due to the urgency of the role, only candidates who are already based in Malta can be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee client tax matters to ensure compliance and on-time filing.

• Review junior team members' tax returns for accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare corporate and individual tax returns and related forms.

• Liaise with tax authorities regarding client compliance and queries.

• Support the tax advisory department with complex client projects.

• Help prepare training materials and articles on relevant tax topics.

• Work with the team to identify and suggest improvements to our processes.

• Guide and support junior colleagues with their technical work

Education, Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACA, ACCA), with a CPA warrant

• 2+ years of tax experience with expertise in Maltese tax

• Proficient in Excel, Word, as well as SAGE

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English

• Relevant tax qualifications (like MIT, ADIT) are advantageous

• Salary of up to €35K depending on experience and performance bonus
