A boutique CSP based in Ta’ Xbiex is currently looking for an Account Assistant to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for candidates based in Malta who have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or a related field) or are currently pursuing ACCA certification.

This is an office-based role offering a salary of up to €32K plus benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts

• Process invoices, payments, and claims in a timely manner

• Maintain and update the general ledger

• Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts

• Assist with VAT returns and other related tasks

• Support the finance team with day-to-day duties

• Maintain a professional and efficient rapport with clients and third parties

Education, Skills & Experience

• Degree in Accounting or a related field

• Candidates who are ACCA part-qualified or currently pursuing ACCA are encouraged to apply

• Fluency in English at C2/Native level, both written and spoken

• 2+ years of experience is an asset

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines
