Our client, a company based in Mriehel offering corporate, advisory, and professional support to local and international clients, is urgently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients and provide payroll support.

This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €30K, depending on experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and handle payroll processes

• Build and maintain relationships with clients

• Prepare engagement forms and documentation for new hires and terminations

• Handle submissions for new clients with the IRD and Jobsplus, including terminations for local and foreign employees

• Provide ongoing payroll support and guidance to clients

• Support and mentor junior team members

Education, Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of payroll experience with a Maltese company

• Formal tertiary education in a related field

• Fluency in English at C2/native level, both written and spoken

• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills

• Experience with Shireburn Indigo is considered an asset

• Proficient in MS365, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Strong attention to detail

• Organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
