A well-established wood processing industry is looking to employ a Finance Officer to join their team. In this role, you will be part of a high-performing and diverse team.

This is an office-based role with flexible hours and offers a salary of up to €30K-€35K plus benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, month-end reports, reconciliations, and payment requests

• Assist with audits and prepare annual financial statements

• Prepare VAT and tax returns

• Prepare monthly budgets, cash flow forecasts, and loan schedules

• Post invoices, journal entries, and payment runs

Education, Skills & Experience

• ACCA part-qualified or equivalent

• Previous experience in a similar role in Malta – non-negotiable

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Good understanding of Maltese VAT and regulations

• Proficient in MS 365 applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Excellent communication skills

• Keen eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines
