A private advisory company based in Malta is currently looking for an Accounts Manager to join their Senior Management team and run the Accounts Department. If you're motivated and ready to take the next step in your career, this could be your opportunity.

This is a hybrid role with a salary up to €55K, depending on experience and qualifications.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team

• Make sure of compliance with accounting policies

• Liaise with the company's directors, staff, and clients

• Manage staff on a daily basis

• Assist clients, providing VAT advice when required

• Communicate with auditors

• Review work carried out by the team and give feedback

• Plan ahead, making sure deadlines are met

• Collaborate with other departments within the firm

Education, Skills & Experience

• Graduated from UOM or holding an ACCA degree

• Warranted Accountant in Malta

• 4+ years of experience working within a CSP or similar firm in Malta

• Previous experience in managing small teams

• Fluency in English (C2 / native level), both written and spoken

• Italian language skills will be considered an asset

• Qualification in Maltese VAT

• Solid understanding of GAPSME and IFRS

• Strong knowledge of Maltese VAT legislation

• Excellent time management and able to work under pressure

• Attention to detail and a great attitude to motivate staff
