PSP Reconciliation Specialist
A fresh opportunity has arisen for an accouning specialist with strong PSP & platform reconciliation skills to join a new sportsbook and casino, supported by a large Gaming operator.
This is offered with hybrid basis, where you will be at the office in St Julian's twice weekly.
Generous salary of up to €53K + excellent benefits
The role suits someone eligible to work in the Malta and preference is given to someone available within the next month.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reconcile payment transactions and balances across various PSPs & internal platform transactions
Create and constantly improve processes, including finding ways to automate as much as possible
Process and review non-cash transactions, including bonuses, taxes, stakes, and winnings
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity within accounting systems
Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with resolving disputes and collaborate with Fraud Dept to investigate chargebacks
Review transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve payment-related issues
Manage chargebacks and disputes efficiently
Reconcile player balances and liabilities
Prepare tax submissions and support regulatory reporting requirements
Assist with management reporting, audits, and compliance reviews
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls
Maintain reconciliation procedures and supporting documentation
Monitor financial risks and ensure adherence to internal controls
Education, Skills & Experience
University degree or equivalent
A strong affinity for numbers, with a flair for finding solutions and optimizing processes
3+ years proven experience in a similar role
Obsessive about making things match exactly; particular interest in reconciliations
Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
Flexible, adaptable, and suited to work in a high-velocity start-up environment, where things can change rapidly
Previous experience in iGaming or in a similar, high-volume transaction role
Previous experience in regulatory reporting, dispute management process, chargebacks and tax declarations is preferable, but being keen to learn is key!
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting systems
Multi-tasker with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and within a team
About the Role
Salary €43-53K
Hybrid - work 2 days at the office and 3 from home
Standard working hours 8:00 - 17:00 (including lunch break)
