Growing and award winning legal, corporate & fiduciary group of firms located in Malta urgently needs a Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their team.

As a Junior Corporate Lawyer you will be working in a small but successful firm working closely with experienced professionals, on a varied portfolio of clients on a wide range of legal matters. As you would be working in a small team you would be benefitting from gaining more experience and responsibilities then in larger organizations. 

  Salary up to €28k

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assisting with drafting, reviewing, and updating of contracts and agreements, along with internal policies
• Assisting in the preparation of statutory documents for the incorporation of new entities
• Supporting in the preparation of statutory documents for the transferring shares between existing shareholders or new investors
• Providing assistance identifying legal risks and providing recommendations to mitigate risks, including implementing policies and procedures to enhance legal compliance and risk management
• Assisting with issues relating to Immigration Law and Compliance procedures and requirements
• Liaising with clients, professional advisors and regulatory bodies
• Assisting clients in company incorporation and maintenance, company structuring and restructuring
• Conducting legal research on various points of law and providing consolidated legal opinions on queries.

Qualifications:

• Ideally two years’ experience
• Experience within one of the following areas: corporate, maritime law, international taxation, or international business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must - other languages are considered an asset
