International CSP with a successful branch based in Malta and authorized by the MFSA urgently needs a Compliance Executive to join their office. This particular business focuses’ on providing corporate and fiduciary services both domestically and internationally.

As a Compliance Executive you joining a team of highly professional and experienced individuals where you will be required to offer support with regards to the monitoring of compliance, policies and local regulations.

Salary €28k-€30k

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support the team with client onboarding including the review of due diligence documentation as per local regulations
• Carrying out periodic reviews of existing client relationships and structures
• Assisting the Company in the fulfilment of AML legal requirement
• Assistance with the updating of internal AML/CFT compliance manuals, policies, procedures and systems
• Assisting the Risk and Compliance Department to raise awareness on compliance and risk related matters
• Assistance with opening of bank accounts and liaison with the bank and clients as the need arise
• Undertaking other duties from time to time as may be agreed with the Head of Risk and Compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in risk and compliance ideally within financial services
• An understanding of the laws governing the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism in Malta
• Articulate and able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Resident in Malta and elidable to work with in the EU
