A leading international igaming company with a global presence is looking for a Senior Azure Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the company’s Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies and Kubernetes to deliver advanced IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, all while following industry best practices and staying up to date with the latest trends. You will work closely with development, security, and IT operations teams to enhance cloud solutions, enforce best practices, and ensure the scalability and reliability of systems.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in India, Pakistan, Armenia, Albania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Nigeria. Candidates must be comfortable working in the USA EST time zone.

The salary is up to $2900/month, depending on experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and provisioning of cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Ensure cloud infrastructure and applications are reliable, available, and performant
• Automate tasks, monitor systems, improve performance, and resolve issues
• Deploy and manage Azure services, including VMs, storage, SQL databases, and AKS clusters
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep
• Set up and configure monitoring tools for system health
• Troubleshoot and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Team City, and Octopus
• Monitor and optimize Azure resources for both performance and cost efficiency
• Provide mentorship to junior team members
• Troubleshoot and manage AKS clusters
• Respond to system alerts and security incidents
• Provide Level 2 support during on-call duties
• Review and improve Azure infrastructure security and design
• Collaborate with development and network teams to enhance platform reliability

Education, Skills & Experience

• Fluency in English (C1+ level)
• Required certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, CKA, LPIC-1 - non-negotiable
• Certification in AZ-800 is a plus
• 5+ years of experience with Azure infrastructure
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS solutions
• 5+ years of experience with Linux and Windows Server (cloud and on-prem)
• 3+ years of experience with Azure ARM templates and Bicep
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• At least 1 year of experience with RabbitMQ and Nginx
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, and Bash
• Familiarity with tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Ops-Genie is a plus
