A boutique professional services firm specializing in accountancy and audits, based in Naxxar, is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team.

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee and enhance operational workflows, lead a team, and ensure the firm delivers high-quality services efficiently.

Salary: Up to €50K + benefits

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient operational procedures across departments (client onboarding, trade processing, account maintenance, reporting, compliance)
• Identify inefficiencies, risks, and bottlenecks, proposing practical solutions for improvement
• Leverage technology and automation to streamline operations and boost productivity
• Create and maintain comprehensive operations manuals and documentation
• Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of operations specialists/associates, conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellent client service
• Liaise with IT on system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Oversee effective utilization of core financial software and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and client experience
• Generate and analyze operational reports on KPIs, efficiency metrics, and service levels, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and workflow across audit and accounting teams
• Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and internal standards, and that deadlines are consistently met

Education, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar operations role within Financial Services, CPS, or related sectors
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to take initiative
