Boutique firm providing bespoke consulting services is looking to expand into Malta and requires a Senior AML Manager to join their business. As the Senior AML Manager your key purpose would be to support the delivery of outsourced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) services.

For the right profile, this role could lead to being the lead consultant in Malta, as a team is going to be built. 

Salary Up to €40k / Fully Remote based in Malta / B2B contract

Role and Responsibilities

• Carry out AML/CTF procedures on all client activities (both domestic and international)
• Obtain pending AML / KYC documentation
• Assess KYC documentation
• KYC and onboarding for investors
• KYT investment monitoring and analytics
• Review and respond to AML related queries
• Create, review and update all AML reports for various entities
• Create complex reports 

Education, Skills & Experience

• University graduate
• 5+ years of experience in AML/CFT for investment funds / within financial services
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Highly computer / IT literate
• Strong analytical skills
• Dependable and able to work largely unsupervised on own initiative but within a framework where all members of the team work towards a mutual goal
• Results-oriented

About this role:

• Initially 100% remote / self-employed basis
• Role will later be offered on PAYE basis
• Salary Up to €40k 
• Office hours Monday-Friday
• No work-permit offered as you need to be eligible to live and work in Malta to be engaged as a consultant until the Company has set up their Malta office
