Our client is searching for a brilliant lawyer, specialised in working within the igaming landscape in Curacao (and other regulatory jurisdictions, please). The Sr Legal Counsel will be an employee, based in Curacao. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities including commercial, corporate, data protection, employment, gambling, competition, social responsibility and responsible gaming
• Draft, review and negotiate complex agreements relating to commercial endeavors
  including marketing and advertising, payment services, data protection, corporate and
  intra-group arrangements, game supplier agreements, NDAs, POAs
• Provide legal and regulatory assistance as may be necessary pursuant to the markets that the Company operate in or will in the future
• Review and/or drafting of terms and conditions, policies and procedures
• Mitigate legal risks and provide guidance on contractual terms and conditions
• Develop and implement policy and procedures to ensure ethical and legal conduct
• Provide consultancy on IP, trademarks and patents
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulators, covering both regulatory and technical aspects
• Manage and supervise the DD process (KYC/KYB) to establish and maintain the
  business relationship with Third-Party Providers / Financial Institutions and Regulators
• Handle player disputes

Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Qualified lawyer 
• Significant experience of working with the CGB (CGA)
• Fluency in Dutch is a strong preference
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Several years' experience of working in a Senior Legal role with an igaming entity
• Experience of working with other (gambling-related) regulatory jurisdictions would be preferential
• In-house experience is preferred but consultancy or firm would also suffice, as long as your experience covers the greater aspects of the role description above
