An exciting opportunity has arisen, with a leading PAAS company within the iGaming industry.

Our client provides top service with a platform / aggregator for iGaming operators looking for an end-to-end service. They are looking for a Compliance Officer with 3+ years experience of working with Regulatory Compliance in the iGaming industry, of which some must be on the B2B side.
The role reports directly into the Head of Legal and Compliance and collaborates closely with stakeholders from each relevant department and external partners to take ownership of licensing and certification processes, oversee DD/KYC, and build and maintain compliance frameworks that support as fast-growing aggregator business.

Role & Reponsibilities

• Take ownership of licensing and certification processes in multiple jurisdictions
• Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing DD/KYC requests and processes
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and frameworks
• Monitor regulatory developments and keep leadership team informed of business critical updates
• Act point of contact for game providers, operators, and other parties to stay up-to-date with compliance-related issues and updates, with the aim of keeping the business one steap ahead at all times
• Support commercial product, and operational teams
• Oversee technical compliance activities and tasks
• Act as the main contact point for regulators and certification bodies

Education, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor Degree and/or relevant diploma in Compliance
• Minimum 3 years compliance experience in the iGaming industry (non-negotiable)
• Experience of managing licensing, certification and DD/KYC processes.
• Solid understanding of iGaming regulatory frameworks
• Experience of communicating directly with regulatory bodies
• Technical compliance experience
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Driven and capable to work independently to the highest of standards
• Able to both manage projects and function in a team
• Happy to work in an “office-first” role based in Malta
