A well-established corporate service provider, supporting a wide range of industries, is seeking a Senior Tax Executive to join their growing team. In this role, you will report to the Tax Manager and will be responsible for managing a select portfolio of clients, while also mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Salary: Up to €40K depending on experience.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the tax advisory team in drafting opinions, advice, and assisting with projects and restructuring procedures
• Identify clients potentially impacted by international tax directives or policies
• Prepare individual tax returns of varying complexity, including those under Maltese residential schemes
• Liaise with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration regarding client tax matters
• Prepare corporate tax computations and returns (including fiscal unit returns), shareholder registrations, and refund claim forms for a diverse client portfolio
• Review corporate and individual tax returns prepared by other team members
• Manage a client portfolio to ensure compliance and timely submission of all necessary tax documentation
• Assist in gathering relevant data to support business development initiatives
• Contribute to the preparation of training materials, articles, and web content on tax-related topics
• Collaborate with team members to improve client services and suggest enhancements to existing processes

Requirements, Skills & Experience:

• Qualified in Accountancy or equivalent (ACA, ACCA), with a CPA warrant
• Additional qualifications (MIT, ADIT) are advantageous
• Solid knowledge and experience in Maltese tax
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English and Maltese is required
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and SAGE
