JobMatchingPartner represents an iGaming Operator, a startup backed by a large iGaming Group of companies, with finding a talented Head of FP & A to be based in Malta.

Reporting directly to the CFO, who is based in a different location, the Head of FP & A will work 2 days weekly from the office and has the freedom to work from elsewhere the other 3 days.

Salary idea €90K, flexibility can be considered depending on the candidate.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Planning, Forecasting and Analysis

• Take the lead on the preparation of the annual budget

• Create multi-annual financial plans and forecasts

• Oversee the consolidation and validation of financial input for the Maltese entities

• Develop end define financial models to support market expansion and product investment decisions

• Monitor and analyse key business metrics, translating findings into insights and recommendations for the Management Team

• Interpret and analyse management reporting

• Support business development projects including juriosdictional market expansion, new product launches, and M&A transactions

• Lead cost optimisation initiatives

• Implement and optimise systems, BI dashboards, insights and reporting tools

• Advocate automation and other initiatives promoting efficiency

• Hire, build, mentor and manage an FP & A Team

Education, Skills & Experience

• Senior (ideally 10+ years) experience in Financial Planning and Analysis

• Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent thereof

• Experience of working with financial reporting in Malta for 2+ years

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to C1 level

• Significant experience within igaming or other fast-moving online business with high-volume transactions

• Experienced with M&A, financial modelling, business case development and DD

• Experienced with data-driven strategic planning, cost optimisation and performance enhancement

• Experienced with BI toolsand ERP/ERMs

• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills

• Happy to work in a multi-cultural environment
