MLRO
Our client requires an experienced Compliance professional with strong experience as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in financial services.
You will lead the local office's compliance function, ensuring all business risks are monitored and managed. Your key task is to implement and maintain a strong compliance framework that meets local laws, regulations, and company policies, enabling smooth business operations.
This is an office-based role with flexible hours and offers a salary of up to €70K.
Role & Responsibilities
Implement Group policies while ensuring compliance with local regulations
Develop, implement, and improve the compliance framework and policies
Work closely with KYC, Fraud, and Risk teams
Ensure KYC, AML/CFT, and Anti-Bribery systems and controls are adequate
Report and review unusual transactions with the SAM, AM, and MLRO
Manage client's portfolio with SAMs and AMs to build strong relationships, understand their business, and ensure compliance with regulations
Report all risks, compliance issues, and solutions to the LMT and the Group
Support the LMT by tracking, explaining, and reviewing relevant laws for the company and its clients
Prepare and send regular compliance and risk reports to senior management, highlighting concerns and solutions
Manage client billing, invoicing, and collections for my portfolio
Track my weekly productivity and chargeability to meet set targets
Submit all timesheets and meet weekly and monthly chargeability goals
Act as a director, trustee, or authorized officer for internal or client companies when required by management
Education, Skills & Experience
Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and other relevant professional qualifications.
Has over 10 years' of experience in a compliance role.
Understands local and international tax laws and regulations, including CRS, FATCA, BEPS, and GAAP
Excellent at organizing, working with others, and communicating clearly
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach
Excellent client-facing and communication skills for all levels
