Our client, a provider of financial services to the international business sector, serving a diverse international client portfolio, is seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in corporate and/or tax law, along with strong English communication skills. This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €55K, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all aspects of corporate governance and administration, including submissions to the Registrar of Companies

• Draft and review legal and corporate documents, resolutions, Powers of Attorney, various agreements, and civil contracts

• Support matters related to immigration law and compliance procedures

• Communicate with clients, professional advisors, and regulatory authorities

• Assist clients with company incorporation, maintenance, structuring, and restructuring

• Conduct legal research on various points of law and provide consolidated legal opinions

Education, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law

• Local warrant is not required but would be considered an advantage

• 2+ years of local (Maltese) experience in corporate law, international taxation, or both

• Excellent English communication skills at C2/native level, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
