JobMatchingPartner represents a multinational group of companies in the search of a Senior Legal Counsel. This is a brilliant opportunity to manage legal and regulatory matters across the company’s international operations!
Reporting to the CLO, you will have 3 colleagues in the Legal team.

The role is based in Malta and suits a qualified lawyer with experience from working within the igaming industry. 
Salary up to €80K + benefits (see below)

Role & Responsibilities

• Liaise with colleagues in other departments to assess risk, recommend actions and ensure compliance
• Provide legal guidance on licensing and compliance for regulated markets
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, legal advisors to stay ahead of regulatory developments
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, employment contracts, supplier agreements and other legal documents
• Manage trademark and intellectual property portfolios
• Maintain internal policies updated to comply with current regulatory requirements concerning AML, GDPR and responsible gaming regulations
• Help develop and deliver internal training materials and courses
• Assist with eventual matters relating to employment law and disputes.

Education, Skills & Experience

• LLM
• 5 years experience of working as a lawyer
• Significant (2+ years) experience in igaming
• Experience of working with multijurisdictional regulatory compliance matters
• Expertise with commercial contracts and risk assessments
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

About this role

• Salary €68-80K depending on experience
• Annual performance bonus of 10%
