Compliance Administrator
Our client, a provider of financial services to the international business sector, serving a diverse international client portfolio, is seeking a Compliance Administrator to join their team. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in compliance administration within corporate services, a strong understanding of relevant regulations and directives, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. The Compliance Administrator will report to the MLRO and Compliance Officer and work closely with internal departments, including Legal, Accounting, and Tax.
This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €35K, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Role & Responsibilities
Perform general compliance administration duties, including collection of CDD documentation as part of KYC procedures
Manage client onboarding and screening procedures
Review client files and CDD data while maintaining files up to date
Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory filings
Support team members in matters related to compliance
Liaise with internal departments to streamline operations and ensure seamless service delivery
Education, Skills & Experience
Formal tertiary education in compliance or a related field
2+ years of experience in a compliance administration role in Malta, preferably in financial or corporate services
Excellent English communication skills at C2/native level, both written and spoken
Knowledge of regulations, directives, and compliance procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates integrity, responsibility, professionalism, and maintains confidentiality
About the Role
Salary up to €35K + performance appraisals
Hybrid with flexible hours (three days in the office and two days remotely)
